In military decision-making processes, a realistic picture of the situation can make the difference between life and limb for soldiers on deployment. Fast and well-founded intelligence gathering from as many civilian and military sources as possible and timely reconnaissance information are indispensable prerequisites for any command decision and operational planning. They are an integral part of the entire chain A-F-W (reconnaissance - command - action).

We analyze future system architectures, evaluate proposed solutions and optimize the network of reconnaissance resources.
