As part of our consulting services for 5G/6G+, we identify user requirements and derive functional requirements for the system. We create threat and risk analyses based on the standards used in the KRITIS sector, such as ISO 27001, BSI Basic Protection and BSI Common Criteria. In the special area of threat and risk analyses, e.g. for the use of edge clouds, we use tools developed in-house that are based on the MITRE Attack Framework.
For verification and validation, we have implemented our own 5G network based on the Open Air Interface Standard, which allows us to check the impact of our concepts and recommendations at protocol level.
Our knowledge of the use of different tools contributes to an efficient and effective approach in the projects. A special testbed is currently being set up on the IABG premises to test security functions in the automotive sector.
In addition to our focus on cyber security consulting, we also support our customers from the KRITIS sector in the design, development, testing and operation of user-specific campus networks. We also prepare the certification of systems and their applications.

In the area of cyber security, we create threat and risk analyses based on the standards used in the KRITIS sector, such as ISO 27001, BSI basic protection and BSI Common Criteria.
We are breaking new ground with our partners, particularly in the area of quantum key distribution via optical satellite communication, with the aim of strengthening European sovereignty. The start of production of a quantum receiver for the EU's Eagle-1 lighthouse project opens up further opportunities in the field of optical ground stations.
The knowledge of robust communication and the application and use of different tools, e.g. for link budget analyses, for the simulation of jamming and spoofing influences, as well as for frequency management, contributes to an efficient and effective approach in the projects.
In addition to consulting on the various areas of cyber security, we also work for our customers from the old and new space sector in the design, development, testing and operation of user-specific SOA & IdM platforms, e.g. as the basis for OSS and BSS systems. We also prepare the certification of the systems and their applications on the basis of Common Criteria. The connection of the IT platform with VS-capable cloud solutions offers special added value, especially in the European governmental sector.
