High-Dynamics Analyses: From Detonation to Plastic Deformation and Damage

DYSMAS

Our specially developed, experimentally validated in-house simulation program DYSMAS (Dynamic System-Mechanics Advanced Simulations) is a highly accurate program system for simulating fluid-structure interactions (FSI). It was developed to calculate the response behavior of systems under high-dynamic loads and to simulate complex physical high-speed phenomena. These include underwater explosions (UNDEX), detonations near the water surface (FLOATEX), in-air detonations (AIREX), as well as simulations of material failure, plastic deformation, fragmentation and structural penetration.
