In addition to process support through Systems Engineering, we also utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). MBSE involves supporting SE processes by using various domain-specific models, with the goal of facilitating and enhancing process understanding. The developed (technical) models are aligned with the requirements and concerns of stakeholders, similar to SE. The focus is on information models that build, distribute and maintain knowledge across all phases of planning, implementation and usage, including transparent, traceable and sustainable documentation.
