Determination of mass properties (MPM)

Precise knowledge of the mass, center of gravity and moment of inertia of a test object is necessary, for example, to be able to optimally design the attitude control of the satellite in space.

IABG has various MPM systems for the exact determination of the mass properties of aerospace systems, their components, payloads and other technical devices. We can also measure large test specimens in three axes (L-adapter and rotating device).
